Born in 1967 in Cameroon, the artist, Barthelemy Toguo, goes back to his village, Bandjoun, after many years of art studies at the Abidjan School of Fine Arts, Ivory Coast, the Grenoble graduate school of art, France and the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf, Germany, in order to both build a Contemporary Art Center and a farming project..
This 26 minute documentary has been done in Bandjoun, West Cameroon, located in Grassland, in the Bamileke- district.
It is both a collective project and an individual "adventure".
It points out a community deeply attached to its tradition, facing a world which is quickly moving, while keeping alive strong cultural practices.
The artist's project is inspired, structured and fed by the environment.
